Spring has arrived and now is the time to gather a “Team to Clean” and for groups and individuals to organize their own litter cleanup in the Rose City’s Spring Clean Sweep Campaign, which is sweeping through Windsor during the month of April.

A community cleanup involves the removal of litter from sidewalks, vacant lots, school grounds, ditches and alleys. Each group decides for itself where, when and who will be involved in their cleanup. In turn, the City will provide gloves, bags and collection services.

“City of Windsor residents truly take pride in their community. Last year close to 9,000 participants collected litter in their neighborhoods. We’re hoping to get even more participants to spring into action this year” states Anne-Marie Albidone, Environmental Services Manager.
