Windsor Firefighters are packing up after extinguishing a camping trailer that was fully engulfed in the 3500 block of King Street in Sandwich on the City’s west side.
Witnesses to the blaze report hearing an explosion prior to seeing flames engulf the trailer which was parked in the backyard of a house.
Arriving officers in fire vehicles could see flames from the trailer burning brightly in the night sky.
Residents gathered around, most in shock, and one man took a tumble over a fire hose.
Officials on scene are investigating the cause of the blaze.
