Huron Line Zellers to Close June 2nd, Sales Start Mid-March

The Zellers store on Huron Line at Tecumseh will begin its store wide liquidation sale on Friday March 16th.

This location has not been picked up by Target who will be converting the two other existing Zellers locations at Tecumseh and Devonshire malls to Target stores to open in 2013.

There are plans to redevelop the plaza making room for a Fresh-Co location.  The new grocery store is planned to go in the south section of what is currently Zellers, while the remaining portions of the building will be divided into up to four other retail units.

The Zellers store will close for good at the end of business on Saturday June 2nd.
