Local Business Taza Mediterranean Grill to Open at Caesars Windsor

A popular South Windsor restaurant is opening a second location inside of Caesars Windsor.

Taza Mediterranean Grill restaurant will open in the former Augustus Café located in the hotel lobby in the spring. Construction starts immediately.

Brian Munson, Vice President of Resort Operations, said, “We are proud to welcome a reputable, local restaurant to this ideal space. It will offer our guests a new, delectable and family-friendly dining experience with authentic cuisine that continues to be a popular choice for diners.”

This will be the second location for local restauranteur and business owner Abe Taqtaq, who also owns “Taza is Fresh” restaurant located in South Windsor. He said, “We are very enthusiastic to partner with Caesars Windsor and its first class reputation as a leading provider of entertainment and hospitality in the region. The convenient lobby location enables us to cater to the entertainment clientele as well as to families and hotel guests.”

“Taza translated from Arabic, means fresh, and is our mandate,” added Taqtaq. “The menu will offer a wide variety of authentic, Lebanese-style dishes including tabbouli, humous, flame grilled lamb chops, grilled beef and chicken skewers and more.”
