The Palace Cinemas in Downtown Windsor will be serving up its last buckets of popcorn this weekend as it prepares to close its doors for good.
The theatre was informed in late November it would close at the end of its lease to make way for redevelopment of the block.
The Palace has many specials running right now, including a medium pop and popcorn for just $5. The theatre has been in the core for decades and last under went extensive renovations in the early 2000s.
This is the second local movie theater to close its doors recently.
Forest Glade Cinemas went out of business in November.
