Burton Cummings, Celtic Crossroads & Kenny Rogers Headed to Caesars Windsor

Caesars Windsor announced this morning that legendary musician Burton Cummings will perform at the Colosseum stage on Friday, March 23rd at 9pm.

The front man for The Guess Who for a decade, Cummings wrote and co-wrote the lion’s share of some of the band’s biggest and best-known hits including “These Eyes,” “American Woman” and “Laughing”. His solo career saw even more success with top billboard hits like “Stand Tall” and “Fine State of Affairs”. See this rock legend live! Tickets start at $25 Canadian.

On top of that and just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Caesars Windsor will welcome the return of the critically acclaimed Celtic Crossroads on Thursday, March 15th with two shows at 2pm and 8pm.

One of the most authentic shows to come from Ireland, it is an explosion of youthful energy and dazzling musicianship. Celtic Crossroads abounds with fusions of traditional Irish music, bluegrass, gypsy and jazz with the rhythms of exciting Irish dance percussion.

Tickets start at $15 Canadian. Country and gospel music icon Kenny Rogers returns to the Colosseum stage on Saturday, March 17th at 9pm. Known for his sweetly raspy vocals, Rogers has earned multiple awards in the music industry over his 52-year career including American Music and Country Music Awards. He has sold 120 million records featuring timeless classics and an impressive 24 #1 hit repertoire including “Lady,” “Lucille,” “She Believes in Me,” and “The Gambler”. Tickets start at $20 Canadian.

The soulful sounds of The O’Jays can be heard live on the Colosseum stage on Saturday, March 31st at 9pm. Enjoy this talented vocal group’s biggest hits from their brilliant career spanning more than 50 years including “Back Stabbers,” “For The Love Of Money,” “Love Train,” “I Love Music,” “Use Ta Be My Girl” and “Have You Had Your Love Today”.

Tickets start at $30 Canadian. Tickets for all four shows go on sale at noon on Saturday, January 14th, 2012.
