Hello time traveller!!
This article is 4506 days old.
The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

At the beginning of November, Trinkets, Treasures and the Truly Unique opened its doors at 3218 Sandwich Street and it has already outgrown that location!  At the beginning of January the store will be moving to a larger location just two doors north at 3214 Sandwich Steet.

The store, opened by Melissa Piva and showcasing the works of several local artisans and crafters has seen a dramatic surge of interest from crafters and proved the need for a larger location. With a larger store-front, there will be space to have lessons and classes taught by the co-op members.

Each participating member pays a monthly fee to sell their goods in the store, which pays for the costs of running the business. One hundred percent of the sales goes directly to the crafters. Items available include woven shawls; knitted and crocheted scarves and hats; handmade purses, clothing for babies and toddlers; hair clips and head bands, a very wide range of jewelry, aprons in various styles, coaster sets, tooth fairy pillows, scented candles, body lotions, all natural soaps, photo postcards, hand-painted lockets, charms, and ornaments; wood-burned candle holders; notebooks, button earrings; natural teas and remedies; signed copies of a book on the history of Ford by a local author and historian; original paintings for kids rooms; turned wood bowls, pens made of wood, antler and bullet casings; mason jar snow globes; decorative pillows, toddler sized blankets and much, much more.
