Windsor Police have a man in custody facing robbery and drug charges after a 73 year old man was assaulted just before 2am this morning at Studio Four adult entertainment located at 1415 Huron Church Road.

When police arrived they were met by the 73 year old male victim who had a minor abrasion  located on the top of his head.  The victim did not require any medical treatment. The victim advised officers that he had been inside the premise for some time during the evening and at 1:20 am, he went to the men’s washroom.  While he was inside the washroom, a younger man entered and shoved the victim causing him to fall to the floor.  The suspect then began to kick the victim repeatedly and in the process, stole the victim’s wallet containing a quantity of cash and a package of cigarettes.  After robbing the victim, the suspect exited the washroom and left the bar.

Through further investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and his description. This information was relayed to other uniformed officers investigating this incident.  Just after 2am,  officers observed the wanted suspect walking westbound on Giles at Marion.  Officers arrested the suspect without incident and a subsequent search of his person revealed a quantity of cash, a quantity of Crack Cocaine and a small quantity of Marihuana.  Officers also found a package of cigarettes of the same brand removed from the victim during the robbery.

Nicholas McCullough, age 18 years of Windsor is in custody facing charges of Robbery, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
