Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, a time to acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country and acknowledge our responsibility to never forget and work for the peace they fought hard to achieve.

In Downtown Windsor a Remembrance Day service will be held at the Cenotaph in City Hall Square at starting at 11:00 am.

On the Campus of the University of Windsor, students staff and faculty are welcome to gather outside the east entrance of Memorial Hall starting at 10:45 am for a service of remembrance.

The Manchester Pub from 12 noon until 3:00 pm, on Friday will be offering up a free plate of their famous slow cooked beef brisket, served with mashed potatoes, vegetables and dinner rolls to all Canadian Forces veterans, as their way of saying thanks to the many fine men and woman who have served our country, from World War I to the current conflict in Afghanistan. The dinner plate also includes free coffee, tea or soft drink.
