A low pressure system currently over Kentucky will be tracking northeastward towards Southern Ontario today. For regions along the western shore of Lake Ontario, where wind warnings have been issued, sustained wind speeds of 60 km/h with gusts to 90 km/h are expected to begin this evening. Winds are forecast to diminish Thursday morning. Environment Canada continues to monitor the development of the situation closely.
