Windsor was on the score board first during Saturday’s Windsor Spitfires game vs the Oshawa Generals and at the end of the first was up 2-0 with goals scored by Alex Khokhlachev and Nick Czinder.

The Generals took the lead in the second period with three straight goals within the first six minutes of play to take a 3-2 lead by the end of the second.  In the third period, Zack MacQueen scored, bringing the score to 4-3, but the Generals forced overtime play when they scored with just six minutes left tying the game up 4-4.

Overtime play went scoreless, forcing a shootout.  Kerby Rychel had the lone goal, giving way for the Spits to win 5-4.

The next home game for the Spitfires is Thanksgiving Monday where they take on the Sarnia Sting.
