The Windsor Essex Humane Society is ready to show this year’s stars of their 2012 Pet Idol Calendar.

The Annual Pet Idol Runway Show will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at the Fogolar Furlan Club.  Doors open at 6:00 pm, a buffet dinner begins at 6:30 pm and the show gets underway at 7:15 pm with Gordon Orr, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Windsor, Essex, Pelee Island serving as host.

In addition to the animals featured in the 2010 calendar, guests will be treated to a parade of Humane Society Alumni who have benefited from the Humane Society’s Pumpkin Fund over the past year.  The “hard luck to good luck stories” will “tear at your heartstrings one minute, then make your heart sing the next”.

There will also be several items up for bid during a live auction and 2012 Pet Idol Calendars will be available for purchase.

Cost to attend is $35.00  per person. Tickets are available by calling  by calling 519-966 5751, ext. 23.  Payment can be made over the phone by credit card and can be picked up at the door the night of the event.
