Windsor Police have a 68 year old woman in custody after a 46 year old man received a number of stab wounds in the city’s east end last night.

Last evening at 8:30 pm Police responded to an apartment building in the 1500 block of Westcott Road for a report of a stabbing.  When police arrives they were directed to one of the apartments where they found the victim inside bleeding from a number of puncture wounds.

Also present in the apartment, was a 68 year old woman who was taken into custody without incident.  The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated and released this morning.

The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.  Investigators will be returning to the apartment to execute a search warrant sometime today.  The victim and suspect both reside in the apartment together.
