Artcite’s eighth annual Fahrenheit Festival of Fire Sculpture lit the skies around the Vollmer Centre in LaSalle, Saturday night.

The only event of its kind in Canada, fire sculpture is “fleeting, kinetic and encompasses a singular moment that can never be precisely restaged.” The festival featured the sculpture work of Denis Bolohan, Steve Daigle, Wayne Tousignant, Martin Utrosa, Professor Rod Strickland’s class at the University of Windsor, Mike Marcon, Pat Conrad, Bryan Lane, Ruth Janzen, Ed Janzen and Matthew Romain.
