On Tuesday, September 6, the Windsor Public Library will be expanding Quick Views, which is a customer focused program that puts popular DVD titles in the hands of customers when they want them – and as soon as they become available. Customers will now be able to enjoy this service at Riverside and Remington Park libraries.

Quick Views offers very-high demand DVDs for a short period of time, with the goal to provide customers with best-selling titles quickly. Quick Views ensures there is always something available for customers who drop into the branch to browse.

“Customers have been asking us to make Quick Views available at other locations and we have listened to them. For now, the program is available at three locations and we will monitor usage as our goal is to provide the opportunity for our customers to access the program at all locations.” Explained Manager of Public Services Nancy Peel.

The Quick Views Program is currently available at Central Library. In order for the program to operate effectively, there are a number of restrictions and changes in process. Quick Views titles will be available on a first come, first served basis; no more than two titles can be checked out at any time; a three-day loan period will apply; titles will not be renewable; and there will be no opportunity to place a hold on a title.  Additionally, late fees of $1 per day will apply.
