Four suspects involved in a vicious assault on Tuesday afternoon on the city’s west side have been arrested and are facing charges.

On Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 3:15 pm a 25-year-old man was walking his 17-year-old brother home from school, and as they approached the intersection of Harrison at Girardot Streets, four men in a purple vehicle pulled along side the two men walking and words were exchanged between the two groups, the four suspects attacked the 25-year-old victim leaving him unconscious.  The victim remains at Hotel Dieu Hospital in good condition with non life threatening injuries.

One suspect was arrested later in the evening on Tuesday.  The remaining three suspects were arrested throughout the afternoon on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.

Mohammad El-Mehdave aged 19 and  Hazifeh Alyassiry aged 18 , both of Windsor are charged with Aggravated Assault.

Two 17-year-old young persons are also charged with Aggravated Assault.

All four accused have been released from custody on Promises to Appear in Court.
