This holiday season, the Windsor Dance eXperience will be performing family favourite “The Christmas Attic” at the Capitol Theatre and Arts Centre.  This heart-warming production narrates the tale of a little girl who stumbles upon a trunk of her family’s memories from Christmas’ past.  Inspired, she sets about to create new holiday memories and rekindle a long-lost love.   The fun, upbeat, and jazzy accompanying tunes are selections from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

WDX will be holding auditions for this production on September 10th, 2011 at St. George’s Anglican Church Hall, which is located at 1949 Devonshire Court.

Auditions will be at 9:00 am to 11:00 am for youth ages 6-11 and from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for ages 12 and over.

Dancers are asked to come dressed in comfortable dancewear and bring dance shoes (including pointe shoes if available).  The audition will be composed of warm-ups/stretching, across the floor exercises, group combinations and some drama activities.

Windsor Dance eXperience Inc. is a non-profit arts organization run entirely by volunteers.  WDX encourages youth throughout the community to develop an appreciation for the fine arts by offering theatrical related opportunities, such as performing, backstage assistance, costume design and set construction.
