A gastronome’s dream and a wine connoisseur’s delight, Tecumseh BIA put on a celebration for the whole family to enjoy.

The weather was perfect for another day at The Art of Eating festival this Saturday afternoon.  The friendly admission crew welcomed all patrons to enjoy a day full of great eats, fine wines and superb entertainment.

Admission for the day is $12 at the gate, while kids 10 and under are free.  Today they are operating from noon until 7:00 pm.

During the day there are activities for children such as face painting, clay art and painting.  There is also live music and yummy treats for them to enjoy alongside the beautiful Tecumseh waterfront.

The festival boasts delicious fare and drink that will tantalize any palate. There are over 20 vendors to choose from so, if you want your traditional slice of pie or craving a little more exotic fare, you can definitely find it here. Wine enthusiasts have plenty to choose from and many a glass of award-winning wines to sample.

The afternoon air resounded with the tunes of Black Orchid, they belted out funky R&B classics and slowed it down with romantic ballads. Festival goers enjoyed a nice afternoon sipping wine whilst sharing good company and indulging in great entertainment.

If you missed The Art of Eating, Food & Wine Festival this year, make sure to follow their website so that you can take in the good eats and treats next year.
