It’s going to be a hot one today.

The forcasted temperature today is expected to reach 39°C or 102°F, but with the humidex its going to feel like 39°C or  118°F

But, will today be a record breaker?

1988 chimes as the year with the hottest day ever recorded.  On June 25th 1988, Windsor hit a high temperature of 40.2 °C  which is 104.36 °F.   These however; are raw recorded temperatures, not counting the humidex.

Ever wonder how the humidex is calulcated?

The humidex is a calculated value to describe how humid weather feels to us.  Created by the Meteorological Service of Canada in 1965, the humidex rolls the air temperature and humidity levels into one number to illustrate how the average human perceives the current temperature.

Keep cool Windsor!
