Police Looking for Hit & Run Driver

On Monday, July 4, 2011 at approximately 3:00pm a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist at the intersection of Patillo Rd and Silver Creek Dr, in Lakeshore, and then took off.
The 42-year-old male motorcyclist sustained non-life threatening injuries to his face and legs, and was transported to Metropolitan hospital by ambulance.
Police are looking for a Blue or Black Chev 4 door Pick-up. The driver of the pickup is described as a male, white, brown hair, medium build and is approximately 30-40yrs of age. The pick-up should have damage to the left front and left front fender.
Police remind motorists that all persons in-charge of a motor vehicle who are involved in a crash must remain on scene to provide a statement the police.
If anyone has information on this crash, they are asked to contact the Lakeshore OPP or Crime Stoppers.
