Local company The BIGscreen Canada will be presenting a film to hundreds of people in downtown Windsor on Canada Day.

The company will be setting up one of its inflatable screens at Fred Thomas Park just outside of Waterworld to screen the film Yogi Bear in 3D.

President of The BIGscreen Jeremy Pillon makes sure all of The BIGscreen’s technology is up‐to‐date for all the wide variety of services the company offers. He
wants the company to be ahead of the game.  “It’s a big event for us because we’re showing the movie in 3D,” says Pillon. “Having this state of the art technology allows us to be ahead of everyone else in this industry. Showing a 3D movie to the citizens of Windsor really proves it. With all the other services we offer, it’s easy to see why our clients are satisfied with our work.”

The company has been hired for various events recently. The company screened a locally produced short film at Summer Fest on June 18. The BIGscreen was also tasked with filming the tug boat races on June 25.  3D glasses will be able to be purchased at the event for $1. Popcorn, pop and candy will also be available for sale.
