Breathe Art Theatre Project presents the Canadian premiere of Yankee Tavern by Steven Dietz.

Just when you thought you’d heard every crazy conspiracy theory, a stranger walks into the Yankee Tavern and orders two beers, one for himself and one for his unseen friend. There, inside the walls of this crumbling New York tavern, a young couple finds themselves caught up in what might be the biggest conspiracy of all. Steven Dietz’s acclaimed dramatic thriller is a fierce, funny, and ultimately mind-bending work of theatrical power that grips you until the final word.

Company members Joel Mitchell (Mr. Marmalade, Closer, Pillowman) and Kevin Young (Love Bombing after the Earthquake, Nocturne, Pillowman) are joined by Dan Jaroslaw and Chelsea Sadler in a production directed by company member Michael Carnow.  The design team consists of Michelle Becker and company members Valerie Bonasso and Sergio Forest.

Yankee Tavern will take place March 3rd to 5th at Mackenzie Hall in Olde Sandwich Towne.  Show starts at 8:00 pm Thursday and Friday and at 2:00 pm on Sunday.  Tickets are just $20.00.  Student and senior tickets are $15.00.
