Last night fans of local music enjoyed a stacked set at The Loop and The Coach And Horses, all in the name of SCOTT FUNNEL. Funnel, who was brutally beaten by assailants unknown to him on November 13th, is out of the hospital now and recovering at home. He was in attendance last night, and the emcee urged us to say hello, “just don’t head butt him, or ask him to do his version of the Berserker.” He won’t be going back to work anytime soon, however. With no medical benefits whatsoever, the music scene in Windsor (who have indeed benefited from Scott’s hard work, promoting local acts and serving up drinks at The Coach) decided to band together and raise some much needed cash for the local indie music hero. Here are a few pics from night one of this massive two-day event.
