The newest gallery space in Old Walkerville opens up its doors tomorrow evening for a presentation by two local artists. Contradicting styles will keep your eye roaming as Michelle Angers and Irene Sekersky exhibit some of their latest paintings at EYE 2 EYE, running from Thursday, September 30th to Saturday, October 16th.

From the exhibit’s Facebook event page:

Dual perspectives, different journey’s, brought to us through the eyes of two gifted artists. EYE 2 EYE is a collaboration of thoughts and emotions both real and imagined. Vibrant, passionate and thought provoking, these contemporary works in acrylics express the emotional connection of the artist to the world around them. The meticulously crafted art that MICHELLE ANGERS is known for, provides the perfect counterpoint to the broad, flamboyant brush dance that IRENE SEKERSKY has developed.

The artist’s reception takes place tomorrow from 7-11pm at the gallery, which is located at 628 Monmouth Road, Unit #6. The official opening of the exhibit, and of course the opening party, will happen on Friday October 1st, from 7-11pm.

Everyone is welcome to both events, but if you’re not able to make either of those dates, the show will be open to the public on the 2nd and 3rd of October (noon to 9pm on Saturday, noon to 6pm on Sunday). After the first weekend in October, the show will be available for viewing by appointment until October 16th.

Take a look at some examples of the fantastic paintings that will be a part of this exhibition!
