bridge through sculpture #2 by windsordi (from our flickr pool)

The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee, a city advocacy board for kids, teens and young adults, is producing a special video to be shown on the City of Windsor’s website and before City Council on August 9th and they need YOU (providing you’re between the ages of 12 and 21, and free this afternoon).

Intense Media is filming the video to promote youth activities, events, employment and highlight the city’s youth component.

We are shooting the last scene at Ambassador park (riverfront near bridge) … (Tuesday Aug 3rd) at 4:30-5:30.  All kids between the ages of 12-21 are encouraged to come and be part of the video!!  We are looking to fill the park with a big group shot to show Canada and the rest of the world our Windsor Spirit.

The video profiles 4 of our city’s youth excelling in our community, including Harry Young.

The video is meant to promote Youth employment, activities, and support within the City and to attract notice to our city’s youth…the final scene is titled ‘We are the Future’. Hope to see the park filled with our future!  If you think others would be interested please pass this on.

Sounds like a great event, definitely worth it if you fit the demographic and want to be in a video that represents Windsor!
