The Windsor International Fringe Festival begins tomorrow, and along with it, the Visual Fringe Festival.

Exciting and cutting edge contemporary art by local and international artists coming to a downtown storefront near YOU!

In partnership with downtown merchants and venue sponsors, we will be placing art in a wide range of storefront, in-store and available-for-rent retail spaces. Artcite continues its partnership with Windsor’s International Fringe Festival and Actors Theatre of Windsor, to present “Visual Fringe 2010”.  Artists from Windsor and surrounding areas, including the Detroit area, will exhibit their art work in non-traditional, easily accessible venues.

The two-week event features artists Jolie Inthavong, George Rizok, Laura Barnhard, Michael Thoresen, Murad Erzinclioglu, Nicole Drouillard, Gwen Joy, Jodi Green, Nadja Pelkey, Brandon Lemire, Mooshe Nickerson, Thomas Provost, Steve Walls, Ken Rung, Christine Burchnall, Terance Whalen, Adrian Deva, Diane Lorick, Michelle Soulliere, Natalie Sinn, Olga Dermendji, Allen Plant , Nicolette Westfall, Margaret Atkinson, Daniel Bombardier , Jason Deary, Jonathan Hanlan, Denis Tetreault, Stephen G. A. Mueller, Elizabeth McLachlan, Sarah Buckius, Steven & Elaine Chauvin, Carly Erber, Bernard Helling, Carol Anne Winters and Dennis Hunkler.

A press release describes the event as:
