Downtown Farmers’ Market
The super-successful Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market returns tomorrow morning for five months of Saturday vegetable and fruit goodness right in the core of Windsor.
Thirty local vendors take over the old Transit Windsor bus terminal on Chatham Street selling fruits and vegetables, fresh bread, soup, baked goods, prepared foods and arts & crafts. Additionally, you can find gluten free products, fish and meat and heck, you can even take a ride on a pony!
The Market kicks off at 8am Saturday in Downtown Windsor at 44 University Avenue East or the same address on Chatham Street (the bus terminal spans the area between two blocks) and wraps up at 1pm.
Grown Right Here Campaign
Windsor-Essex Looks for Local is relaunching their ‘Grown Right Here’ campaign, tomorrow at Sobey’s (Tecumseh Mall) in East Windsor. Join WindsorEats.com, local vendors, special guests and enjoy free food samples.
The event runs between 10am and 4pm.
