Windsor Police attended a residence in the 1000 block of Elsmere around 4:30pm Wednesday afternoon to stop a man who was seen shooting animals with a pellet gun from his basement window.

Pellet guns are of course legal to possess and use in Canada, but there is a bylaw in place in Windsor that prohibits the discharge of a pellet or airgun within the city limits. Violating the law is punishable by a large 4 figure fine.
