2 Attempted B&Es Thwarted in Past 3 Days

An attempted break and enter occurred at an apartment complex in the 5400 block of Reginald Tuesday evening around 6:30pm. Two youths broke open a window of one of the apartment units and attempted to gain access as a nearby resident called police. One of the youths was reported to have ran down Lassaline Avenue. He was quickly apprehended by police.

On Sunday, May 2nd, around 1am, a resident returned to their house in the 3600 block of Deerbrook to find somebody had broken into their home. The suspect was still in the house and ran off when confronted by the homeowner. Police were unable to locate the suspect this time around.

An attempted vehicle theft also occurred Tuesday morning around 2am in the area of Jefferson and South National. Two males were seen trying to break into a jeep.
