Firefighters extinguished a stubborn blaze around 3pm at a residence on Drouillard Rd.
Several fire companies arrived to the 1100 block of Drouillard Rd. to find thick black smoke emanating from the structure.
The fire occurred only mere blocks from another major incident at Adler’s Bakery in July.
