Google Street View Car in Windsor, ON

Google’s popular “Street View” feature was recently activated for London, Ontario, and eight other Canadian cities on Wednesday.

Windsor should be next, sometime in January or early February if Google’s two-month release schedule continues.

Street View is a popular service from the search provider, Google, where users can virtually walk through cities.

The Street View car was spotted in Windsor back in the summer.

  • Very cool! This is really the first time I've checked out StreetView, and I must admit I'm a bit overwhelmed! I just spent an hour checking out my old haunts from when I lived in London. Old apartments and houses, some which have changed dramatically (one's not there any more) and some that don't even look like they've cut the lawn since I moved out 20 years ago.

Next I'm heading to some really cool places. Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Paris - here I come!
