Handout photo of the 'La Bella Strada' (The Beautiful Street) Erie St. project.

Tonight before City Council, Erie Street business owners will present a proposal for a pedestrian friendly, LEED Certified redesign of Windsor’s Little Italy.

Including two entrance archways, expanded sidewalk patios, free morning parking, a coloured asphalt road surface, traffic circles and hundreds of new trees, the Greening of Erie Street project aims to evoke an ‘Old Country’ feeling to the popular European-style Windsor tourist attraction that is Via Italia.

Check out this video about the project!

    Dear Sir or Madam:

I was enjoying the video re-Erie Street East and then it stopped. I tried everything I could think of but with no luck.

Would you mind telling the creators of this problem.

I enjoy your photos of the area very much as I have not been back to Windsor in 12 years, after my mother died.

      Hello Geoff,

The video seems to be working again. Sometimes YouTube has loading issues that are between momentary and a few hours in length.
