Zombies brought all of their zombie friends to Ouellette Avenue, Friday night, for Windsor’s annual Zombie Walk.

Clad in shreds of once-happy clothing, dripping blood from various bodily membranes, and marching with a dire intent, zombies left Windsor’s riverfront at 10:15pm and creeped along Ouellette.

More than one hundred crawling creatures, including a mummy, zombie prom king/queen and an undead bride/groom crept along the street, mouths drooling, and eyes focused on a delicious task.

Behind the scenes, meticulous attention is paid to ones own appearance when preparing for the event.  Makeup and attire has been prepared down to a science for most of the zombies.

The Windsor Zombie Walk is now in its third year.  Next year, they’ll be coming for you…. and walking for charity.

We were leaving the Blind Dog last night and were approached by some Zombies asking us if we had seen a large group of their brethern. It was funny and surreal at the same time. We pointed them in the right direction and they thanked us by not eating our brains.

Glad you got some shots. It’s pretty tricky to shoot eh? It’s why I was going to shoot video this year.

well, I honestly hate TTL flash. I shot these on manual, 70mm beam spread at 1/4 power. still kicking myself for not stopping down!!! I’m so used to shooting fires with available light at night

I almost didn’t go myself, it was raining steadily at 9:30, but thank god it stopped just in time for the walk!

    haha so wonderful.
I’ve never been a zombie fan but I love this idea.

I had no idea where all the zombies went after the haunted house last night. The douchebag at the casino though made me clean my face at like 3 am or he wouldn’t let me go in. He kept saying I was drunk, and I had too much to drink and I was like WTF? — but it turns out its because he thought it was real blood, and I wasn’t phased by it. I think it’s questionable at best to wonder if he was the one drinking.

There were only 5 zombies in Pepper’s afterwards. Went home and drank beer and played Halo instead D:<

Where's more pictures? I haven't seen myself or my zombros in any of them. I was the office zombie.

Really folks. I couldn’t understand the number of people who had 2 year olds in strollers out after their bedtime. These are ZOMBIES, not Santa and his elves.

Don’t forget that not all people have the same interests as others so this may have been their “Santa Claus Parade”. Also, kids go to bed at all different times so it was also possible that these kids still made it home for bed time.
