The two-day Airshow in Windsor was a jet-blast! Many, many photos from the show…

US NAVY T-34C’s take off and leave for their home base in Florida.
Californian Jacquie B. performs.
…and returns to the ground to sign autographs!
Canada’s own RedBull pilot, Pete McLeod, takes to the sky.
The Canadian Aerobatic Harvard team soars in to perform with nearly 70 year old aircraft!
…and promptly return to the crowd for a wave!
RedBull Air Races pilot Mike Goulian thrills the crowd in his Extra 300 S.
And now it’s time for the jets!
First up is a CF-18 Hornet, painted in the Canadian Air Force’s 100th Anniversary of Flight livery.
Then a restored Cold War era F-86 Sabre flew.
And at last, the Snowbirds took off…
…while the CF-18 and it’s friend, another Tutor trainer plane landed over the warm pavement.
In the distance, the geese flew formation. GEESE?!
That would be the Snowbirds!
They flew chilling manoeuvres!
And tight formations!
And completely thrilled the crowd.
Thanks to the organizers of the Windsor International Air Show for awarding Windsor Visuals with the title of “Best Airshow Blog” during their pre-show blog contest! Thank yous include organizer Keith Baxter, Barry Pigeon, and special thanks to John Stefani of Western District for the leg-work.
