Saturday was “Phog Phest”, the musical celebration for the winner of CBC Radio 3′s Searchlight contest to determine the Best Live Music Venue in Canada.
Windsor’s Phog Lounge won the contest, putting our city on the musical world map! I arrived to photograph the bands The Arkells, and Holy F#@$ (the headliner), and narrowly missed Windsor’s own Yellowwood.
Darren over at Photo404 has a great post about Yellowwood. More pictures from Phog Phest below..

It was an awesome celebration of Canadian (and local) musical talent, right here in Windsor. Congratulations Phog, and way to go Windsor!
