Guests at the WFCU Centre’s performance of Cirque Sublime were treated to the unusual, addictive and unique world of ADAMO on Sunday night.  Cirque Sublime, a Canadian entertainment-circus group, has been performing for audiences since 1997.

The performance begins, and this speaking mime appears from the audience, walks through rows of people…

…and props himself up beside Windsor Star photographer, Scott Webster!!

The mime mumbles about a few things, and is surprised to be in Windsor.

And the show takes off!

The mime settles down for a nap, and two acrobats approach.

Then up into the air they go!

Twirling.

Then the delivery men appeared, with some very fragile boxes.

Which naturally fall over.

Next act, one of the men spins a metal box frame on the palm of his hand.

One of the performers, Heather, does amazing tricks with balls…

…including balancing them tightly to her body, while she contorts in awkward positions.

After intermission, it was time to use the catapult.

High flying, and astonished faces.

More catapult action.

Amazing acrobatic feats by two very capable folks.

An outstanding accomplishment!  And a great evening.
