Nestled in Windsor’s Downtown is the Maiden Lane Chess Parkette.  Even if not used too often, it sure makes a good photo… or two.

  i think i may be one of the few that has actually played chess there. and checkers, too!

  While I have never witnessed anyone playing chess – those tables do get a lot of use from the smokers and bar goers and people reading news papers in the warmer months. I think that area is really cool. I wish there were more greenery though.

  I never noticed this area until like 2 months ago (I don’t go to downtown a lot) but when i saw it, I thought it was so cool lol. It’ll would’ve been nice if there were actually people play chess there.
