Ok, ignoring the unusually warm temperatures for a minute, autumn has fallen on Windsor, and the four-day-window for fall colour photography (as I like to call it) is here! Here’s the last push of colour on Windsor’s skyline before we head for a few months of snowy blanketing.

The fantastic "ivy house" in Walkerville (from last year)…

…and this year I decided to try a different take on it.

On Devonshire Rd., a Kentucky Coffee tree arches in front of a sugar maple. There are MANY kentucky coffee trees in Windsor, since they are native to southern Ontario (extending into the mid United States).

And a few maple leaves that are slowly losing their chlorophyll. Amateur arborists, get out there and enjoy the fall colours!
