UWindsor Students Protesting Outside President's Office

Talk about a Windsor Visual!!  I just wanted to pass along this link that was forwarded to me, of a live stream of students staging a sit-in protest outside of University President Dr. Alan Wildeman’s office.  The protest is in related to the ongoing strike at the University of Windsor, which is entering day 14.  I’m not sure what their positions on the issues are, and I don’t know the reasons for the occupation, but hey, the 5th floor of Chrysler Hall Tower is kinda nice.

    All I know is that if I paid all that money for school and a bus pass I would be right fucking pissed off at the faculty for striking.

    It’s not the faculty’s fault for striking. They were forced to strike because of a greedy, selfish administration

    I somehow don’t think you can be forced to strike. As a group you can’t, as a individual you can. They still made the choice and said enough was enough. But they waited until school started. They could have gone on strike the moment they knew, which was back in June – July from what I hear. I blame both the Teachers and Adminstration. The teachers could always teach from the picket line, they have options.
